Ignoring the fact J.Lo, at 53 years old, claims her wrinkle-free complexion is thanks to nothing other than olive oil… she does actually experience some of the same stuff the rest of us goal-getters do.
Even when she has a huge win (in this case, an international film premiere that received rave reviews), she still struggles to get so much as an acknowledgement from her family.

I had to smile at how relatable it was – and it’s not to say that her family doesn’t care.
But it definitely goes to show that no matter who you are, even those closest to you aren’t always going to ‘get it’ the way you might want them to.
And that’s because no one knows YOUR vision quite like you do.
But it’s especially hard for close friends and family to understand.
So that’s why it’s so important to have community in your corner who DO get it, and who are there to cheer you on. (Because carving your own path can get lonely!)
